2007 Fall Sporting Clays Shoot-a-thon
12/10/2007 08:28 AM - On Dec. 8, 2007, the Tirzah ARP Sportsmen's Fellowship held a sporting clays tournament at the Clinton House Hunting Preserve in Clinton, SC. This was a great time of fellowship. The day started with registration and a safety talk and then we started shooting. At 1:00 pm, we broke for lunch and devotion. Pastor Andy delivered a powerful message about things can change "in the twinkle of an eye". He challenged everyone to be ready when that time comes. He also challenged us as Christians to go out and tell the world about Christ. The results from this event where awesome. We had three commitments and four recommitments to Christ. In all 32 attended. The winners where Will Rhodes (youth), Sara Matthews (women), and Hal Murry (men). We gave out door prizes and information packs out in the end. If you were to ask me if this, I would say more than you know. I have to believe that we touched the hearts of every person that attended. Therefore, if you missed this event, you missed a great time. Please plan on coming to the next one and see for your self how the Christian Sportsmen's Fellowship can really make a difference in people's lives.

God Bless, Jay Matthews Chapter Director Tirzah ARP Sportsmen's Fellowship
